Andover Mot & Servicing Ltd are a thriving group of garages with over 25 staff, we currently have 2 repair garages and MOT centres in Andover, 1 repair garage and Mot station in Salisbury , a Tyre and fast fit centre in Winchester and the fourth string to our bow is that we have just invested heavily in Head Skimming equipment, with a Pressure tester and wash machine to enable us to skim heads accurately with a day turnaround.
We are only looking for the best of the best to join our expanding team as a Master Technician and (preferably but not essential) MOT Tester, where your expertise will keep our customers safely on the road.
You will play a huge part in our businesses as part of an elite team of technicians, leading from the front, to be part of a thriving, multi-vehicle repair network that values skill, initiative, and professional growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, ensuring top-quality workmanship
- Perform all aspects of vehicle servicing, including :-
- Engine replacements
- Timing chain, cambelt and wetbelt replacements
- Gearbox changes
- Clutch and brake repairs
- Exhaust systems
- Tyre fitting and balancing
- Conduct advanced diagnostics and fault finding
- Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks
- Work closely with Workshop and Site Managers to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Perform MOT testing - nice to have but not essential.Requirements
- Fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Proven experience in diagnostics, repairs, and servicing across multiple vehicle types
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools
- Valid UK driving license
- MOT tester certification preferred, but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to high standards of safety and customer service
