Your role as a Functional Assessor
You’ll play a key role in helping individuals access the support they need through Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Work Capability Assessment (WCA)
You will:
- Carry out assessments (telephone, video & face-to-face in Watford)
- Review and interpret medical evidence
- Produce detailed, structured reports
- Support claimants with empathy and professionalism
- Use your clinical judgement to inform fair, evidence-based decisions
No treatments. No emergency care. Just quality, structured assessments.
What we’re looking for
- 1+ year post-qualification UK experience
- NMC or HCPC registration (RGN, RMN, RNLD, Paramedic, OT, Physio)
- Strong communication & report-writing skills
- Confident using IT systems
- Passion for making a real difference in people’s lives
