Fibre Mechanics are recruiting experienced Composite Boat Builders and Laminators to join our growing teams on a range of exciting marine projects.
Current Projects:
- 60ft Carbon Canting Keel Racing Yacht
- 100ft Bluewater Cruising Catamaran Refit
- 80ft Racing Trimaran Structures
- Multiple 80ft Composite Commercial Vessels
- Supply of composite panels and structures to boatbuilders across Europe
Boat Builders:
Experience in lightweight composite construction, carbon fibre, race yachts, superyachts, and/or commercial composite vessels.
Laminators:
Experience with prepreg, resin infusion, vacuum bagging, wet lay-up, vacuum table panel production, and high-quality hand lay-up.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Pay & Opportunities:
- Permanent and self-employed positions available - (PAYE pay from £16/hr depending on experience.)
- Up to £29/hr for experienced Carbon Composite Boat Builders with leadership experience
- Up to £25/hr for experienced Laminators with prepreg and infusion experience

Requirements:
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
- Must be able to commute to Lymington or Hythe
