Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated full time Registered Nurse to join our team. The Nurse will provide essential nursing services, support patient care activities, and ensure the safety and well-being of residents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, contributing to quality patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Duties
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records in accordance with legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including regulations governing patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address residents’ needs promptly.
- Support the training of new staff members by sharing expertise in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Uphold high standards of infection control and sanitation practices throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license with relevant registration in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or nursing home setting.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessments and documentation.
- Familiarity with regulations and best practices for maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
