Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lorry driver to join our team in a mixed and varied role. The ideal candidate will split their time between transporting our rigs and kit safely and efficiently to various location nationwide and helping load up and organise our yard and stores.
This role is incredibly varied and no two days will be the same, will include driving our sleet of low loaders, making delivery's in flat bed vans, washing down and organising of equipment, tidying and working with our workshop team on basic maintenance. A background in moving and driving plant would be useful. This role is suited to someone who is hands on and likes getting involved.
Duties
- Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload drilling rigs and kit, ensuring that goods are secured properly for transport.
- Organise and keep stock of yard and workshop
- Basic maintenance on vehicles trailers and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and logs.
- Communicate effectively with management and site teams regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Loading and unloading of equipment, washing down and re stocking.
