Dynamic Load Monitoring (DLM) designs and manufactures specialist load monitoring and subsea systems used globally in demanding offshore environments where reliability is critical.
We’re looking for a hands-on Calibration Technician to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone from an automotive, motorsport, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering background who enjoys problem-solving, fault finding, testing, and precision engineering.
This is not a repetitive production role — it’s an opportunity to develop technically within a business that values quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
The Role
You’ll be involved in the assembly, calibration, testing, and fault diagnosis of specialist engineering equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibration of load cells using test machinery
- PCB assembly and soldering
- Electronics testing and fault finding
- Mechanical assembly, repair, and testing
- Reading and interpreting engineering/electrical diagrams
- Working to engineering quality standards within a workshop environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience within automotive, manufacturing, mechanical, or production engineering
- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude
- Fault finding and repair experience
- Ability to read technical drawings or wiring diagrams
- Experience with soldering or electronics desirable
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
