Duties
- Lead food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment
- Manage food production schedules to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours
- Oversee food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness, proper storage, and compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth serving of meals and excellent customer satisfaction
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to keep offerings innovative and appealing
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through efficient kitchen practices
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
