Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive early years team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS
- Supervise children during play, meals, rest times, and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
- Observe, assess, and maintain accurate records of children’s progress and daily routines
- Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues through clear and supportive communication
- Support the implementation of high-quality early years practice and nursery policies
- Assist with nursery events, parent meetings, and celebrations
- Contribute to a welcoming, safe, and stimulating learning environment
- Occasionally support with outings or transport duties where required (driving licence advantageous but not essential)
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Sound knowledge of child development and EYFS practice
- Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred, or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Positive, caring, and professional approach
- Leadership or mentoring skills are welcomed and supported
- A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential
