The Role
Working within our Bradford Office, you will produce drawings for fabrication purposes for a wide range of bespoke steelwork for commercial and residential projects across the UK.
· Producing detailed manufacturing fabrication drawings from project designs within the required timescales.
· Liaising with architects, engineers and site teams throughout the design process
· Producing material, component and bolt lists for procurement
· Aiding the manufacturing and site installation team to fully understand the fabrication drawings and answer queries as they arise.
Further training to progress and develop within the company will be offered to the right candidate ie Advance steel training, project management etc.
About You
· Strong knowledge and experience of AutoCad 2D & a proven track record of working within the fabrication industry
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent time management skills
· Work independently and part of a team
· Experience of producing manufacturing drawings for the steel fabrication industry is essential
Experience using workshop equipment such as overhead cranes, press brakes, guillotines and bandsaws would be an advantage, although training can be provided.
