- Collecting fresh produce (fruit/veg/fresh foods) from suppliers and growers in the early hours of the morning prior to order picking duties.
- Picking customer orders ensuring correct items are picked, undamaged and packed with care.
- Packing completed orders into cardboard boxes/reusable plastic crates to protect all produce during transportation.
- Completing 'pick sheets' accurately recording all weights, measures and volumes for billing purposes.
- Meet picking speed and efficiency targets as specified by your supervisor.
- Load the delivery vehicle in an organised manner that matches the order in which deliveries will be made.
- Helping to plan shortest and best routes to clients by taking factors like road closures and traffic into consideration.
- Use GPS navigation apps as necessary with knowledge of local area to deliver orders to customers on time.
- Daily maintenance checks on delivery vans, informing supervisor of any issues.
- Interact with all customers in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.
- Unload all produce carefully at the destination and get the customers to check off their delivery.
- Return to the warehouse in a timely manner.
- Restock shelves and take stock checks as required.
- Perform warehouse cleaning duties.
- Work as part of a team, covering and helping each other in a friendly and supportive manner at all times.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will utilise your core skills in warehouse experience and heavy lifting, while leveraging premium skills in operation and warehouse management systems. Qualifications
- Aged 25 or over to meet insurance criteria on our small fleet of vans.
- Experience driving transit vans.
- Some knowledge of the catering industry would be beneficial.
- Proven warehouse experience with a focus on produce handling and logistics.
- Strong skills in picking and packing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Experience in delivering and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods.
