Green Home Systems (GHS) were established in 2014 as a family business and have grown over the last decade to become one of Scotland’s leading whole-house retrofit installers.

We install energy-efficient measures in commercial and domestic properties, including Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charge Points and all major and minor Insulation, helping our customers reduce bills, save energy and contribute to Scotland’s net-zero ambitions.
We’re growing fast and our private domestic and commercial pipeline is expanding, we require a competent, qualified and experienced electrician who takes immense pride in their work to join our team. This role is hands-on for solar PV installations, Air Source Heat Pump wire ups and general electric work in residential and commercial properties.
The main requirements would be working with a roofing team and wiring in solar panels, inverters, batteries and associated equipment and working with our heating team in wiring up Air Source Heat Pumps and assisting commissioning.

The role:
- Install and wiring of Air Source Heat Pumps
- Install, wiring and commissioning of solar PV, inverters & batteries.
- Complete inspections and testing in line with BS 7671
- Diagnose faults and complete required remedials.
- Carry out EICR’s across domestic and commercial properties.
- Support apprentices’ development and learning.
The individual:
- Fully qualified electrician (NVQ/ SVQ level 3 or equivalent).
- 18th edition qualification.
- Experience with solar PV and/ or ASHP wiring is essential.
- Understanding of current regulations and compliance.
- Team player, pride in work and finished service.
- Customer orientated.
- Ability to travel around Scotland on pre-approved projects.
- Full driving licence

Pay: £48,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
