As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Proactive Sales Advisor to join our Customer Service team.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an established and successful business where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in developing customer relationships, driving outbound sales activity, and helping trade customers maximise their business opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Proactive Sales Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Making proactive outbound sales calls to existing and lapsed trade customers to generate orders and increase sales
- Building strong long term relationships with trade account holders through regular telephone contact
- Identifying upselling opportunities across our product range
- Following up on quotations, promotions, back orders, and previous customer enquiries via phone
- Managing a high volume of daily customer calls while delivering excellent service and product knowledge
- Contacting customers to discuss new product launches, seasonal offers, and current promotions
- Working towards individual and team sales targets and KPIs
- Handling inbound customer enquiries confidently and professionally
- Processing customer orders accurately via phone and email
- Supporting customers with product recommendations, stock availability, and order updates
- Working closely with colleagues across the Internal Sales team and wider business to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintaining accurate customer records and call notes within internal systems

- Strong verbal communication and telephone sales skills
- Confidence making outbound sales calls and building customer relationships
- A proactive and target driven mindset
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to identify sales opportunities and close business effectively
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to thrive in a fast paced sales environment
