Description:
Servicing, repairing, trouble shooting, stripping and rebuilding mechanical power presses on site at customers works.
Working on power presses from 1 ton – 1000 tons capacity.
Experience on pneumatic, hydraulic and lubrication systems an advantage.
Must have knowledge of the various types of mechanical and friction clutch and brake units.
Must have a good mechanical understanding of presses including clearances, setting slides, stripping, rebuilding & setting clutches / brakes etc.
Details
Must have a full clean driving licence.
Must have their own tools.
A van is provided
Would be required to travel and work nationwide and sometimes work away and stay overnight.
Must be able to fill in all their own paperwork, service sheets and time sheets.
Qualification PCN level 2 in NDT crack detection advantageous
