Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Care Coordinator with a valid driving licence to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating care services within care homes specialising in senior care. This position involves supervising care staff, developing personalised care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of resident wellbeing. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and proficiency in IT systems utilised within the care sector. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily care operations within care homes specialising in senior care.
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to individual residents’ needs.
- Supervise and support care staff to ensure compliance with care standards and organisational policies.
- Facilitate effective communication between residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery.
- Organise training sessions and supervise staff development programmes to maintain high-quality care standards.
- Utilise IT systems to record, update, and monitor resident information and care documentation accurately.
- Drive between different care facilities as required to oversee operations or provide support where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and confidentiality protocols.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence with the ability to travel between multiple locations as needed.
- Proven experience in senior or elderly care environments, preferably within a care home setting.
- Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams of care staff.
- Strong understanding of developing and implementing personalised care plans.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in IT applications relevant to the healthcare sector, including electronic record systems.
- Compassionate approach with organisational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
