We are hiring at The Abbotsford Bar and Above Restaurant on Rose Street.
This role is currently for an Assistant Manager, we are looking for an enthusiastic staff member with an eye for detail and a passion for the hospitality trade.
The role includes duties such as running shifts, daily cash ups, taking in deliveries, keg and cask changes, ordering, line cleans and supporting the General Manager. The ideal candidate should have 1+ years in a similar role.
We are an independently owned traditional Whisky and Ale Pub that also serves Pub Food. So experience in Whisky and Cask Ales would be preferred, but training is provided.
There are many benefits working for us like free staff meals on shift, paid breaks, and free taxis after a late shift. We are only open till 11pm during the week and midnight on Friday and Saturdays. So no super late shifts. Good mix between day and evening shifts. Great tips split evenly.
We get a good mix of tourists and regulars making it a friendly and enthusiastic environment with lots of stories from across the world.
