Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Radiographer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a post mortem imaging service for his Majesty's Coroner, while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques.
Duties for CTPM Radiographer ( Royal Bolton Hospital )
- Conduct thorough post-mortem CT scans following established protocols.
- Transfer and position deceased individuals for imaging with respect and care.
- Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Accurately document scan parameters and maintain confidentiality.
- Assist in handling deceased individuals while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiography and forensic imaging.
- Contribute to departmental improvement initiatives.
- Register referrals when required.
- Participate in CME training, conferences & contribute to training corriculum.
Skills and Attributes:
Proficiency in CT scanning equipment operation and eveeryday maintenance.

Qualification and Experience:
● Essential:
○ DCR BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
○ HCPC registration.
○ CT Experience
Computer literate
● Desirable:
○ Familiarity with Canon CT Equipment
○ Post-Mortem / Forensic Radiography Experience
Pay: £40,000.00 per year
