Job Summary

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service and assistance while taking drink orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
- Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high levels of service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes and basic bartending techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Understanding of food safety practices is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service and hospitality.
- A valid personal licence for serving alcohol is advantageous but not mandatory at the time of application.
