Our Business is the supply, installation and commissioning of heating & plumbing systems to new build dwellings (flats & houses) for both the Social and Private housing sectors.
We are looking to appoint a Mechanical Contracts Manager to take ownership of mechanical project delivery. This role will ideally suit someone already running projects who is confident managing staff and subcontractors and working with main contractors and Clients
Job Description
Manage multiple mechanical projects from pre-start through to completion and handover
Identify opportunities to maximise potential of each project to work in the most cost-effective manner
Oversee staff and subcontractors across sites. Making sure they meet the required technical and Health & Safety standards required
Manage inspection of work and agree plumbers timesheets
Coordinate programmes and ensure delivery to deadlines. Plan ahead arranging for materials to be delivered in a timely fashion.
Liaise directly with main contractors and clients. Attend meetings as required and resolve queries or issues as the arise
Monitor project performance and flag risks. Any defects should be dealt with promptly
Ensure quality, compliances and health & safety standards are maintained
Assist with project estimating with drawing take off’s and labour requirements
What we're looking for
Experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager or Project Manager
Strong knowledge of mechanical building services (Plumbing, HVAC, Plant Rooms)
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Confident working independently and making decisions
Good IT knowledge and excellent communicator
Organised, proactive and solution based
Must have a valid drivers licence and be authorised to work in the UK
Location
We are based in High Wycombe, bucks and are presently working in Egham, West Drayton, Hitchin, Brookmans Park and, Twickenham
We are presently estimating for work in West Drayton, Aylesbury and Barnet
