Health and Safety & Compliance Officer – Based at our head office in Dartford, Kent
Overview of the role
We are a relatively new company with approximately 30 employees currently using external Health & Safety consultants. As we continue to grow, we are now looking to employ a Health and Safety & Compliance Officer to work very closely with our company directors to promote a positive HSE culture within all areas of our business. Your initial tasks will include reviewing our current policies and procedures, making improvements where needed and implementing them with our staff members. A large percentage of our work is completed at customer locations, working from mobile working platforms/towers, therefore there may also be a need for site specific risk assessments.
Once the initial review of our Health and Safety policies and procedures has been completed on the operational side of the business, we will then be looking to introduce you to other areas and duties where health and safety & compliance may need to be considered. This could include things like generating HSE related reports, maintaining our HSE policies, implementing training programs & records, managing fire safety along with keeping relevant logs up to date, issuing PPE and any other reasonable duties relating to Health and Safety & Compliance.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and/or Experience
- NEBOSH National General Certificate (Level 3)
- IOSH membership (Minimum technical level)
- IT Skills (Microsoft Office)
This role will be worked over a 5 day week; Monday to Friday.

Pay: £33,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
