Kitchen Manager — Spitroast, Smithdown Road, Liverpool
Spitroast on Smithdown Road does one thing and does it properly — rotisserie chicken, proper sides, and a dining room full of regulars. We're looking for a Kitchen Manager to run our kitchen day-to-day: someone reliable, organised, and ready to take ownership of a site that already works.
This is a genuine step-up opportunity. You might be a strong Sous Chef or Kitchen Team Leader ready to run your own kitchen — you won't be doing it alone. You'll have an experienced General Manager on site every day and hands-on support from our senior kitchen team while you find your feet.
What you'll do
- Run the kitchen day-to-day — prep, service, and everything in between
- Place food orders and manage stock, waste and deliveries
- Cook to our specs — our menu is built around consistency, and we'll train you on every dish
- Lead and organise the kitchen team across shifts
- Keep the kitchen safe, clean and audit-ready — food safety and due diligence records
What we're looking for
- Solid kitchen experience at Sous Chef, Kitchen Team Leader or Kitchen Manager level
- Reliable — this role is about being someone the site can count on, every day
- Organised with orders, stock and paperwork
- Level 2 Food Safety minimum (Level 3 a bonus — we'll support you getting it)

Full-time, £33,000 per year. 45 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, including weekends. Based at Spitroast, Smithdown Road, Liverpool.
