Foreman Painter & Decorator – North East
We are looking for an experienced Foreman Painter & Decorator to join our team, working across various projects throughout the North East.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising our existing painting and decorating teams, ensuring work is completed to a high standard, safely and efficiently. The role will also involve supporting the development of new work opportunities and client relationships.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating painting and decorating teams
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Maintaining strong Health & Safety standards on site
- Liaising with clients, site managers and other contractors
- Assisting with the development of new work opportunities
- Demonstrating good commercial awareness and understanding of project requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator / Foreman
- CSCS card (essential)
- Face Fit certification (essential)
- Asbestos Awareness (essential)
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and a professional approach
- Full UK driving licence
