Electrician – Domestic & Commercial

Solo Electrical (South) Limited are looking for a reliable and motivated Electrician to join our growing team. We carry out a wide range of electrical works across domestic and commercial properties, including installations, maintenance, testing, fault finding and reactive works.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well independently and as part of a team, and is confident dealing with clients on site.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out domestic and commercial electrical installations
- Fault finding, maintenance and repair work
- Consumer unit upgrades and circuit alterations
- Installation of lighting, power, containment and small power systems
- Testing and inspection works
- Working from drawings and specifications where required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintaining good communication with clients and office staff
- Completing job sheets and certification accurately
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in domestic and commercial electrical work
- Good fault-finding abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Professional and reliable attitude
Desirable (Not Essential)
Experience in any of the following would be a bonus:
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent)
- Fire alarm systems
- Security systems
- AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) systems
- Emergency lighting
- Solar PV systems
- Battery storage installations
- Experience working alongside or within multi-trade/property maintenance environments
