Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, efficient service
- Maintain strict food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and cleanliness protocols
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and give correct change using basic math skills
- Keep the workspace clean and organized by regularly sanitizing equipment, counters, and dining areas
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies like coffee beans, milk, cups, and utensils to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous barista experience of 2 years
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food and beverages
- Experience serving customers in fast-paced environments with a focus on positive interactions
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Comfort working in a team environment with excellent communication skills
