Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our Burger Freakz team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the food production process, managing a small team of kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation. Duties:
- Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing meals in accordance with recipes and food safety standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient operations
- Collaborate with the management team to plan menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and customer preferences
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation regulations
- Implement proper food storage techniques to prevent spoilage and waste
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist in the development of new menu items and specials
- Handle customer inquiries and special requests in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary arts, and flavor combinations
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
- Proficient in food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
