Overview
Enterprise Causeway is seeking a creative, energetic and organised Marketing & Events Executive to join our team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to execute engaging marketing campaigns, deliver impactful events, create compelling content and support entrepreneurs across the Causeway Coast & Glens through our business and community support programmes.
Working across Enterprise Causeway and The Courthouse Shared Space & Creative Hub, and reporting to The Head of Enterprise & Marketing you will be responsible for promoting our events, updating our website content and managing our social media and email channels.
You will also provide practical marketing mentoring and support to start-up and early-stage businesses, helping them develop their own marketing strategies and grow their ventures.
We're looking for a motivated marketing professional who enjoys balancing creativity with organisation, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting local enterprise and community development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to promote our services, events, and brand initiatives.
- Coordinate and execute a diverse range of events, from small gatherings to large-scale functions, ensuring seamless planning and flawless delivery.
- Manage promotional materials, social media campaigns, and digital content to maximize outreach and engagement.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to support event logistics and marketing efforts.
- Upsell additional services or products during events or client interactions to enhance revenue opportunities.
- Maintain excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Provide exceptional guest services during events, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing, event planning, or hospitality roles such as restaurant or hotel experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey ideas and foster positive relationships.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling and maximizing revenue opportunities through persuasive techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and effective time management abilities.
- Experience in fundraising or community engagement initiatives is a plus.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service excellence is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm.
