Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Support with medication administration as per training and regulations
- Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments when required
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all individuals under your care at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience working within providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving home visits or outings
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
- Excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with residents and colleagues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others
