Recycling Operative
£13.46 per hour | Temporary to Ongoing | Immediate Start Available
Nu Staff are recruiting for Recycling Operatives to join a growing recycling facility based in Caerphilly. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is physically fit, reliable, and enjoys working in a hands-on industrial environment.
You’ll be responsible for sorting, preparing, and dismantling fire extinguishers as part of the recycling process.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday:
Mornings: 06.00am - 14.00pm
Days: 10.00am - 18.00pm
(Rotating weekly)
Pay Rate:
£13.46 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting and grouping fire extinguishers into categories
- Setting up extinguishers to be safely drained
- Preparing units for dismantling and recycling
- Using hand tools (including hammers) to dismantle components
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
- Comfortable working in an industrial/recycling environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Previous experience in recycling, labouring, or warehouse work is an advantage but not essential
- Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude

Caerphilly – must be able to commute reliably
