Dog chauffeur
Monday 8am-3:30pm & Friday 8am-4:30pm (from October 12th the available shifts will change to Wednesday 8am-3:30pm & Friday 8am-4:30pm)
Overtime may be required to cover holidays
Permanent contract - 15 hours / week
£12.71 per hour
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the team at our dog day care centre.
Required prior experience and qualifications:
- A care/training/behavioural background desirable. No specific qualifications are required, but experience an understanding of pet/canine care required.
- Literate and numerate.
- Must be able to drive and have access to a car.
Required personal skills and attributes:
- Must love dogs and be comfortable and confident working with a large group of various breeds.
- Be active and able to lift heavier dogs into the van (sometimes like toddlers, they tend not to do as you ask!)
- Have good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Be enthusiastic and confident working in a small team - there are only 4 of us!
- Have the ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Be able to use initiative and follow instructions.
- Be reliable and punctual. We are on a tight schedule picking up and dropping off dogs throughout the day!
- Have a number of years driving experience. You will be on the road driving the company van throughout the day, driving through lanes to get to our centre.
