Bee's Care Huntingdon Ltd is looking for a compassionate, motivated and organised Care Assessor to join our growing team based in Huntingdon.
This is a varied role combining community-based assessments and reviews with office-based care planning and quality monitoring, making it ideal for someone looking to progress their career within health and social care.
You'll work across Huntingdon, Ramsey, St Ives, Great Staughton, St Neots and surrounding areas, supporting both our service users and our care teams.

The Role
This is a unique opportunity combining both office-based responsibilities and community-based work.
No two days are the same.
You will be responsible for:
- Completing new service user assessments
- Carrying out care reviews and reassessments
- Creating and updating person-centred care plans
- Completing quality assurance visits and care staff observations
- Supporting the office team with day-to-day operations
- Answering telephone enquiries professionally
- Assisting with audits and compliance documentation
- Supporting care coordinators where required
- Providing care cover during periods of staff absence where necessary
- Participating in the On-Call rota
- Working closely with service users, families and healthcare professionals
- Ensuring care is delivered safely and to the highest standards
You will also spend time delivering care within the community when required, allowing you to maintain your practical skills and continue building relationships with our service users.

You will need:
✔ Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
✔ Access to your own vehicle for work (Essential)
✔ Good communication and organisation skills
✔ Confidence using computers and writing reports
✔ Compassionate and professional attitude
✔ Flexible approach to work
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Excellent time management
Applicants should also be comfortable working in homes where pets may be present.
Qualifications
The following are desirable but not essential:
- Care Certificate
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Experience within domiciliary care
- Experience completing assessments or reviews
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time position.
The role includes:
- Monday to Friday office and community working
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends where required to support the business needs
- Participation in a rotational On-Call service (paid weekly allowance)
- Occasional care cover to support the business when required
Your working week will be split between:
- Office-based administration
- Community assessments and reviews
- Quality monitoring
- Supporting service users
