We are seeking a Trainee to join our successful team as a Water Systems Operative, who lives in, or near, the Bolton.
The role will involve visiting sites, such as Medical Centres & GP Surgeries, Dental Practices and Schools among others, to carry out essential water and air system hygiene maintenance and monitoring such as:
Legionella Risk Assessments
Temperature Monitoring
Sample Collections
Servicing and Maintaining Water Equipment
Inspecting and Cleaning Cold-Water-Storage Tanks
Air-Conditioning inspection
On the job training will be provided by an experienced Site Operative in a nurturing 'learn by doing' environment. Upon successful completion of your probationary period, you will alternate between working alone and working alongside various members of our existing team.
Please note that driving to sites outside of your area of residence is a daily aspect of the job.
Role Development:
Initially, in-house training will be overseen by the Foreman, assisted by our fully trained site operatives. This element of the training will provide you with the skills necessary to carry out the varied aspects of your role. In addition, independent qualifications such as City & Guilds are available and will be provided, where appropriate, to further your knowledge and practical skills. Career progression opportunities are available when experience and skills are gained.
A meeting to review salary is guaranteed annually.

9am – 5pm Mon-Friday (sometimes variable)
Salary Per Annum:
£25,000 (to be evaluated following successful completion of probationary period and annually thereafter)
