Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior waiters or servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly. • Setting up and clearing tables efficiently before and after service.
- Supporting the team with food preparation, refilling water, and bringing condiments as needed.
- Ensuring all service stations are stocked with necessary supplies, such as cutlery, plates, and glasses. • Polishing glassware and cutlery to ensure they are of the highest standard before service.
- Learning and adhering to the restaurant’s menu and specials to assist with guest inquiries.
- Handling any minor guest requests or issues with professionalism, referring larger matters to senior staff or management.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area and kitchen.
- Assisting with basic mise en place duties, such as preparing bread baskets, coffee stations, or small garnishes.
