Assistant Director of HR — West Midlands (Hybrid)
The rewards

The role of Assistant Director of HR:
- Lead the development and delivery of the organisation-wide Reward & Recognition strategy
- Oversee job evaluation, equal pay risk and reward frameworks
- Provide expert leadership on pay policy, compliance and employment legislation
- Lead on complex workforce cost modelling and reward insight
- Manage collective bargaining and negotiations with Trade Unions
- Drive continuous improvement across reward, compliance and policy
- Deputise for the Director of Industrial & Employee Relations as required
The ideal Assistant Director of HR:
- Significant senior experience in reward, pay or recognition in a large, complex organisation
- Deep knowledge of equal pay, job evaluation and employment law
- Strong track record in leading and managing risk in reward frameworks
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent experience
