We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative & Events Assistant to support our organisation’s daily operations and event planning activities. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
- Assist with organising and coordinating events, from initial planning stages through to execution.
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office programmes such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Manage scheduling and calendar appointments for team members and event dates.
- Handle phone enquiries with professional etiquette and direct calls appropriately.
- Utilise Google Workspace tools for document creation, sharing, and collaboration.
- Support financial tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking using QuickBooks.
- Ensure the organisation’s office environment remains tidy and well-organised.
- Assist with preparing materials and logistics for meetings and events.
Qualifications
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Previous administrative experience or clerical background is preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills.
- Strong typing skills with attention to accuracy and speed.
- Experience with data entry and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks is desirable.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Organised with excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines effectively.

Pay: £24,420.00-£38,815.30 per year
