Ideally the person should be an organised, reliable individual with an attention to detail who is able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative with a positive attitude.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
- Working within a team environment

- Reading 2D drawings
- Operating measurement equipment to verify material, parts and dimensions

WORKING HOURS AND SHIFT REQUIREMENTS
This role operates on a 4 x 10-hour shift pattern, with working hours generally scheduled between 10:00am and 8:00pm. Employees will work four days per week and benefit from three days off each week.
Due to the nature of the business, overtime may be required to meet operational demands. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a reasonable degree of flexibility in their working hours when requested.
The role may also require participation in a multi-shift working pattern to support business needs.
A shift allowance is payable for qualifying hours worked after 7:00pm.
The position is full time/permanent (subject to a satisfactory trial period).
REQUIRED SKILLS
Good standard of education required with ideally a Standard Grade (or equivalent) in Maths, Physics and Graphic Communication. You must be hard working, keen to learn and have good attention to detail. Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential. On job training of operating laser systems will be provided if required.
