Kitchen Porter (Full Time & Part Time)

Cricket St Thomas Golf Club is growing! We've recently acquired the historic Cricket St Thomas Country Inn (formerly the Windwhistle) and are looking for hardworking Kitchen Porters to help us launch this exciting new chapter.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly kitchen team from day one, working in a newly refurbished kitchen with a supportive management team. Whether you're looking to start a career in hospitality or already have experience, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
- Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping all kitchen areas clean, tidy and hygienic.
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Receiving and storing deliveries correctly.
- Helping maintain food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to cleanliness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous kitchen porter experience is an advantage but not essential—full training will be provided.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Cricket St Thomas Golf & Country Club recently acquired the Cricket St Thomas Country Inn (formerly The Windwhistle Inn), with an exciting reopening planned for mid-June.
