Tandoor and Tawa – Leicester
Tandoor and Tawa, a Punjabi restaurant in Leicester, is looking for an experienced and confident member of wait staff to join our team.
We are looking for someone friendly, reliable and professional who is comfortable providing good customer service in a busy restaurant environment. Previous waiting experience and bar knowledge are required for this role.
Hours
- Part-time
- Wednesday to Sunday
- 5:00pm – 11:00pm
- Approximately 30 hours per week
Main Responsibilities
- Welcoming and seating customers
- Taking food and drink orders accurately
- Providing friendly and attentive table service
- Preparing and serving drinks from the bar
- Maintaining a clean and organised front-of-house and bar area
- Helping ensure customers have an enjoyable dining experience
- Working closely with the kitchen and other members of the team
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant/waiting experience is required
- Bar experience and knowledge are required
- Confident and friendly with customers
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently during busy evening service
- Available to work Wednesday to Sunday evenings
