Are you an experienced Paediatric Nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life?
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Female Paediatric Nurse to provide dedicated 1:1 care and clinical support for a 9-year-old child with complex healthcare needs within their home environment in Portsmouth.
This is an excellent opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the child and family while delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience working with children who have complex healthcare needs and be confident managing a range of clinical interventions.
- 1:1 Moving & Handling
- Nebuliser Therapy
- Oxygen Therapy
- Chest Physiotherapy
- Seizure Management
- Medication Administration & Management
- PEG / PEJ Management
- Oral Suctioning
- Ventilation Management
- Ability to interpret and respond to non-verbal cues
- Registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
- Previous complex paediatric care experience
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient-centred approach
- Comfortable working in a home environment with dogs
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as driving is essential for this role
- You must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle
