Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Document Controller to oversee the management, organisation, and integrity of project documentation within our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system to manage project files, drawings, reports, and correspondence.
- Ensure all documents are properly classified, version-controlled, and stored securely in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate with project teams to facilitate timely submission, review, approval, and distribution of documents.
- Track document revisions and maintain audit trails to ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support data management activities by organising large datasets.
- Collaborate with IT teams to manage database design, data warehouses, and ensure integration with systems like Procore for efficient data flow.
- Assist in implementing best practices for data analysis skills and analysis techniques to optimise project reporting and decision-making processes.
- Lead efforts in maintaining data quality standards across big data environments and support project management initiatives through effective documentation practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role within large-scale projects or construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of document management systems and software Procore.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex data sets with excellent data analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with project management methodologies and leadership qualities to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
- Technical proficiency in Procore for automation tasks related to data processing or document workflows is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills combined with clear communication abilities to ensure accurate documentation across multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of accuracy and security.
