Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Co-ordinator to lead and manage care services within a vibrant care environment. In this role, you will be the central point of contact for residents, families, and care staff, ensuring personalized care plans are implemented effectively. Your leadership will help foster a supportive atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for. You will coordinate daily activities, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with care standards, all while promoting a positive and respectful community.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences
- Coordinate schedules and allocate resources efficiently to ensure seamless delivery of care services
- Supervise care staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to uphold high standards of care
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to ensure transparency and understanding
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate documentation using IT systems for care records, assessments, and progress reports
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring quality standards and implementing best practices in senior care settings
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home environment
Experience
- Proven experience in senior or residential care environments, with a strong understanding of home care operations
- Supervising or leadership experience in a healthcare or social care setting
- Familiarity with developing and managing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Valid driving license preferred for transportation duties or home visits
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Competence in using IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Prior experience supervising staff within a care or senior living setting is highly desirable
Essential Requirements: A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential, as the role involves travelling between care settings and visiting clients.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
