We are looking to recruit a Full-time dispenser/assistant on a permanent basis to work in our independent pharmacy in Streatham Vale
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy experience with background knowledge on pharmaceutical products and services.
- NVQ 2 Qualification in Dispensing

Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications
Hours: 40 hours a week.
Role Summary
- Provider excellent patient care and customer service as this is the driver behind our business
- Work with a comprehensive team of staff to provide a professional and safe service in primary and secondary care
- To accurately select, label and dispense medication to ensure safe and legal supply to patients.
- Complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice
- Seeking opportunities to engage with GPs and practice teams to drive services and items as well follow up on queries to ensure the level of our service does not fall.
- Providing advice on self-care treatments for patients under the direct supervision of the pharmacist as well as assisting in OTC sales to ensure customers are satisfied with the service and leave the pharmacy feeling assisted on their concerns.
- Provide and support the provision of all pharmacy services.
- To ensure that all prescriptions are maintained to ensure customer safety and confidentiality in accordance with GDPR.
- To assist in ordering, stock control and the maintenance of reasonable stock levels within the pharmacy as directed by the Pharmacist.
- As a representative of the company it is important to maintain a good level of personal presentation and to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
