DRIVER / FLOORING LABOURER Commercial Flooring Contractor

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Hours: Monday–Friday, with occasional early starts and overtime
Age Requirement: 25+ due to company vehicle insurance requirements
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical Driver/Labourer to join our busy commercial flooring team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is physically fit and wants to develop a career within the commercial flooring industry.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving company vehicles to commercial flooring sites.
- Delivering flooring materials, tools and equipment to sites.
- Loading and unloading materials safely.
- Assisting flooring installers with preparation and installation work.
- Moving and handling carpet, vinyl, carpet tiles and other flooring materials.
- Preparing work areas and removing existing flooring where required.
- Keeping sites, vehicles, tools and equipment clean and organised.
- Collecting materials from suppliers and delivering them to site.
- Assisting with site set-up and clearance.
- Following all company health & safety procedures.
- Supporting the flooring team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Aged 25+ due to our company vehicle insurance requirements.
- A full UK driving licence holder.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
- Able to work early starts and travel to different commercial sites.
- Practical and willing to learn.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and polite when dealing with customers and site personnel.
- Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
Previous flooring, construction or labouring experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided to the right person.
