We are looking for the right candidate to join our team in rural Warwickshire. Experience is an advantage but enthusiasm and the will to learn is key.
The role will include responsibilities such as:-
- Answer telephone calls from delivery drivers during the out of hours support period.
- Access company systems to retrieve customer information, delivery notes and contact details.
- Request permission for goods to be left in a safe location.
- Confirm delivery instructions.
- Arrange or agree re-dated deliveries where appropriate.
- Provide drivers with customer telephone numbers and delivery information held within company systems.
- Record any agreed delivery changes or relevant information for the Distribution team to action the following working day.
- Escalate urgent issues to the appropriate manager where they cannot be resolved remotely.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times.
- Ensure all communications are professional, courteous and represent Inn Express positively.
This role will be Tuesday - Friday, 6pm - 9pm.
