What You'll Earn
Guaranteed Basic Salary
£25,776 per annum
Sleep-In Payments
- £71.28 per sleep-in
- Average of 9 sleep-ins per month
- Sleep-ins completed across approximately 11 months per year due to annual leave
- Additional annual sleep-in earnings of approximately £7,056
Overtime & Bank Holiday Enhancements
- Time-and-a-half for all approved overtime worked
- Time-and-a-half for Bank Holiday shifts
- Enhanced time-and-a-half rate for sleep-ins completed on Bank Holidays
Typical Annual Earnings
Approximately £32,832 per annum
We calculate typical earnings using 11 months of sleep-ins to provide a realistic annual earnings figure that reflects annual leave and achievable earnings.

Work Pattern
- Full-time permanent contract
- Average 39 hours per week
- 24-hour rolling shift pattern including sleep-ins
- Regular blocks of days off between shifts
- Rotas planned in advance wherever possible

The Role
You will support children and young people aged 8–18 years who have been placed with us by Local Authorities across the UK.
Many have experienced trauma, loss, neglect or instability through no fault of their own.
As part of one of our residential teams, you will help provide a safe, nurturing and structured home environment where children can heal, grow and achieve.

Essential Requirements
- Aged 21 years or over
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to work towards Level 3 Health & Social Care
Previous experience is welcome but not essential.
