Beadlight is an LED Lighting Manufacturing Company. We design, engineer and manufacture lights for Aerospace, Maritime and the contract market. At Beadlight we have our own in-house design team. We design products from concept to a completed product. We are passionate about producing beautiful products that complement and enhance a setting both functionally and visually.
Our Quality Technician role is a key aspect of our team here at Beadlight and we are looking for someone to join our expanding Quality team. We are looking for someone with an engineering background, excellent communication skills and to be a friendly member of our onsite team.
Main Responsibilities of the role:
- Performing QA inspection (visual and dimensional) on products and components
- Assisting Test and Inspection with production technical queries
- Reviewing production rejects
- Conduction calibration of equipment
- Document control checks and updating records
- Reviewing and assisting with Supplier quality ICAR's and improvement plans
- Report writing
- Assisting with production testing
- Witnessing external testing if required.
Essential Criteria
- Engineering background knowledge
- Good understanding of ISO9001, preferably AS9100, or equivalent.
- Ability to manage your own workload and work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation.
- Good IT skills, good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Attention to detail.
- Good teamwork and organisational skills
- Preferable - Driving Licence required for witnessing external testing
