We’re looking for a creative, enthusiastic and adaptable individual to join our growing team at the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals (NFRSA).
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in marketing while gaining a nationally recognised Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 qualification.
It is also a unique chance to develop and use your professional skills for charitable purposes by promoting our support to retired service animals across the UK!
This role gives the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing and communications activities whilst playing a vital role in the growth of the NFRSA.
The postholder will support awareness, fundraising, engagement and supporter development through a range of digital and traditional marketing channels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, email campaigns, printed materials and fundraising appeals.
- Support the promotion of new animal registrations and the support available to eligible retired service animals and their owners.
- Develop stories and case studies highlighting grants awarded and the difference donor support makes.
- Prepare sensitive tribute and memorial content celebrating the lives and service of animals supported by NFRSA.
- Promote fundraising campaigns, events, challenges and community fundraising activities.
- Create content recognising volunteers, fundraisers, ambassadors, sponsors and corporate partners.
- Review, update and improve content across the NFRSA website to ensure information is accurate, relevant and engaging.
- Upload news articles, event information, animal stories, partnership announcements and campaign updates to the website.
- Identify opportunities to improve website performance, user experience and supporter engagement.
- Support planning, delivery and evaluation of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance using website, email and social media analytics tools.]
- Produce reports and recommendations to improve engagement, registrations, fundraising and awareness.
- Conduct audience, supporter and market research to identify new opportunities.
- Support PR activity through press releases, media monitoring and identifying promotion opportunities.
- Work with volunteers, donors, supporters, suppliers and external marketing providers.
- Maintain marketing records in accordance with data protection requirements.
- Support event promotion before, during and after charity events.
This is a hugely varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and can on their own initiative when required.
This is an apprenticeship role and you will gain the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship.
Training will be supported through Cirencester College.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 9:00 - 4:00 - 30 hours per week
