Abacus Employment are looking for Food Production Operatives to join a busy food production environment in Newbury.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role within a food production area, with a strong focus on keeping machinery and the production environment clean and ready for use.
Duties Include:
- Working within a busy food production area.
- Working on a production line and supporting the production process.
- Setting up and running filling lines.
- Carrying out machine shutdowns, including cleaning and preparing machinery once production has finished.
- Cleaning machinery, equipment and the production area to a high standard.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the warehouse and production environment.
- Following strict food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
- Working as part of a team to ensure production targets and cleaning standards are met.

Hours: 08:00 - 16:00
Shift: Monday–Friday ONLY
Location: Newbury
Position: Temporary to Permanent
Please note: The role will initially operate on a 08:00 - 16:00 shift, but the working hours are expected to move to a later shift later in the year. Candidates must be comfortable with this change.
