32.5hrs per week, 39 weeks per year (term-time plus Training Days)
8.30am – 3.30pm
The Governing Body, staff, and pupils seek to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic and is able to fulfil the role of a committed Family Engagement Officer who can support our families and pupils. They will support the school’s vision to ‘Always Be Proud’, to Aspire, Believe and Achieve.

The successful candidate will:
Effectively engage and work closely with families, staff, pupils and the wider community to motivate pupils to reach their full potential, to include promoting good attendance.- Have the ability to work as part of a team and have close liaison between the senior leadership team, teaching staff and parents.
- Nurture pupils to reach their full potential, supporting the well-being of pupils and their families.
- Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and resilient.
- Be responsible for working with families and pupils with the aim of improving attendance across the school.
- Be able to work alongside outside agencies and the local community supporting families and pupils.
- Be responsible for organising parent engagement events.
- Have excellent communication, organisational and record keeping skills.
- Be reliable and able to take responsibility.
