Courts is looking for a new part time bartender to join the team.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a courteous and attentive manner, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible service of alcohol
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system efficiently
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service standards
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and calculating bills accurately
- Proven time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy hours
- A valid permit or certification related to serving alcohol is advantageous but not mandatory for all locations
- A personable attitude with the ability to create a welcoming environment for all guests
Pay: £12.71 per hour
