Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse / Recipe Picker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an important hands-on role within our operation. You’ll be responsible for accurately picking and preparing the raw materials needed for our recipes, helping to ensure our production teams have the right ingredients, in the right quantities, at the right time.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Warehouse / Recipe Picker, your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately pick and prepare raw materials to recipe specifications using an iPad.
- Ensure correct ingredients and quantities are selected and returned to the correct storage locations.
- Safely load, unload and manually handle materials, including bags up to 25kg.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including order pickers and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks.
- Follow strict food safety, allergen, quality and health & safety procedures.
- Complete production orders accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Check material quality and promptly report any concerns or equipment faults.
- Support continuous improvement by helping us work safer, smarter and more efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to know everything on day one. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude who is dependable, safety-conscious and comfortable working in a busy food manufacturing environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
- Previous experience within a warehouse, picking or manufacturing environment.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- The ability to carry out manual handling duties and lift bags weighing up to 25kg.
- Confidence using basic technology, such as an iPad.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to food safety, quality and health & safety standards.
Previous food manufacturing experience would be beneficial, but most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is reliable, willing to learn and takes pride in doing a job well.
