We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-time Chef to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a love for food and cooking to showcase their skills in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to recipes and standards
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating fresh ingredients
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and timely meal delivery
- Serve food to customers or assist in plating dishes for presentation purposes
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
- Experience with meal preparation and kitchen organisation
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Previous restaurant experience or serving background is advantageous but not essential
- A genuine passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in the kitchen

Pay: £12.71-£13.25 per hour
